Abstract

Information is needed in every sphere of life in the modern age and the role of information in human life is major issue of discussion. Information and Information society are influencing libraries as an institution and librarianship as a profession. Libraries are influencing us in changing our life and society. Library automation, electronic publishing, information and communication technologies are the major component to change human behavior as a digital humanity. Information is knowledge and knowledge is power. Digital humanities become powerful when gather sufficient information and knowledge and able to change something in his life and society. So, libraries are especially important now because it contents different types of information and guide the human being as a touch bearer.
