Emotional intelligence of teachers of Learning Disabilities in English language from their point of view
Abstract
This research examined the level of emotional intelligence of teachers of learning disabilities in English language from their
perspective in Irbid Governorate. The study included 30 teachers from both genders, who were selected in the random method.
An emotional intelligence scale was used to collect data. The findings of the study revealed a high level of emotional intelligence
according to the answers of teachers of LDs in English language themselves. In light of the results, the study recommends
designing a training program to raise the level of emotional intelligence for teachers of learning disabilities in English language
and conducting empirical studies on the subject of emotional intelligence for teachers of learning disabilities.
